• Hi to all, my name’s Niko and I would to ask you a question about WP multisite latest vers with subdomains.
In my case, i have bought a host + domain at bluehost… a domain like http://www.example.com.
I have uploaded all Wp files in my host, create Database and Wp installation gone well.
After of this, i added multisite string in wp-config.php to enable multisite installation (with subdomains).
Later, i added strings in .htaccess and wp-config.php .
    And all is ok.
So, i have created a wildcard subdomain on bluehost, putting * .

now, there’s something that gone wrong.
When i create a wildcard by cpanel, it creates a folder called “wildcard” under /public-html .
Now, what i should to do ????

    1) Should i to put Wp files under wildcard folder ????? Or it doesn’t need to add files under its?
    2) Which kind of criteria manages this folder….

    3) Why It creates wildcard folder??? Is it really necessary?

    4) If i create a 2nd website (subdomain) with URL it.example.com, why i need to have “wildcard” insted a simple “it” folder? Isn’t better to have IT folder instead WILDCARD because my subdomain should be it.example.com ???

thanks a lot for replies 😉

    Niko
