Hello, first off I regret to say that I have no clue how you were able to get a 5 star rating, especially on an unfinished product.

I understand that the plugin is not finished, but this is being promoted as if it works, and it really doesn’t.

Once I install the plugin, I set up a page using the shortcode. I go to the page to see that it has no questions. But it also does NOT have a button or link to ask questions. I looked in the support forums here to see that you have mentioned you should use something like http://www.yourdomain.com/anspress-base/ask
but this simply does not work, I get a 404 page not found.

I set up a question via dashboard, seemed pretty simple, had some categories. Okay, I was thinking that this would work… Wrong. When I go back to the anspress page, no question shows up, I try to view question at the url given after creating it, and I get a 404 error page not found.

I tried uninstalling the whole plugin and trying again with no relief.

You have no documentation on how to get this working at all, nor does any of your answers to peoples questions seem to solve my issues… and I’m from a fresh install and have not touched any of the code.

Could you please make a better effort to describe how to set up anspress? I need a Q&A system on just one page. Where people can ask questions and get answers.

Bro, People are rating cuz they are loving my work.

You need [anspress] shortcode on base page.
And look in menu editor for assigning menu.

Don’t take it offensively. an unfinished project should not be rated in general IMHO. I have [anspress] in the base page. The problem is that it doesn’t display the questions that I set up.

    woops, pressed post by accident.

So one thing you failed to make clear is that you have to set the base page in the settings. The only way I found this out was by looking at your git repo’s screenshots.

EDIT: was able to get this working somewhat. Still some conflicting issues with styling and such, but easily solvable.

EDIT2: Also, using the url http://www.mysite.com/anspress-base/ask results in 404 page not found. I see that you have an ask.php in the theme folder. Was this included at all?
