So I decided to start from scratch instead of fixing all the current issues with the blog (http://polishcommunitycentre.com)

I'm trying to install a fresh copy of WordPress 3.2.1 and I get the: "You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first."

I made sure my php is enabled (currently running PHP 5.2)
I made sure to clear/delete my old database
I even tried changing the wp_ prefix to wp1_ in the wp-config.php

...and I'm still getting "You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first."

At this point im not sure what to do anymore... any suggestions would be appriciated. Thanx.

    my specs are:
    WordPress version 3.1
    MySQL Server version: 5.0.32
    phpMyAdmin version 3.2.2
    I'm using Windows 7, IE9

    to my amazement, yes...

I've deleted all the files in FTP, so there is nothing xcept the root /www. I've cleared all the databases...

and http://polishcommunitycentre.com is still online? how?

It's as if this site was hosted somewhere else?? but all the who is lookups point to NTC Hosting and Swift Media, that's where the site was hosted, that's where the old files used to be, and that's where i have all the access codes to...

    so lost :(
