Another one with broken permalinks after 3.1 "upgrade" (2 posts)

Okay...I know I'm not the only one, but I think I've tried everything. Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm desperate at this point. Thanks in advance.

I’m using this permalink structure: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/ and my internal links are throwing off links with extra dates like this: http://www.doseofdigital.com/2010/03/2010/02/monitor-this-forget-that-monitoring-continuum/

I’ve tried about 10 different things including:

    • Deactivating all plugins
    • rolling back the canonical.php file to 3.05
    • changing my permalink structure and going back to the way I had it (i.e., rewriting my htaccess).
    • Deleting my .htaccess and generating a fresh one
    • These two plugins: FV Top Level Categories, Permalink Fix & Disable Canonical Redirects Pack plugin
    • Changing themes to default and 20 10
    • Looked for this “$wp_rewrite->flush_rules();” in my functions.php to delete it and it’s not there
    • This fix (which he posted in every support string on wordpress) didn’t help: http://wpcodesnippets.info/blog/how-to-fix-the-wp-3-1-custom-permalinks-bug.html

I should probably also add that I just realized that this doesn't seem to affect all of my posts, but rather only a select bunch of posts from early 2010 and 2009 and a handful of posts that had categories added to them (like this: http://www.doseofdigital.com/social-media/page/2009/09/if-you-charged-for-your-content-would-anyone-pay/).

And another thing: I did a little testing and figured this out. If I go to the posts where the links are broken and open the box to edit the hyperlink (which looks correct in this box) and click update (without changing anything else) and then save (update) the entire post, the links are fixed.

However, I'm now noticing I'm getting category type errors too that consist of my category then "/page/". Like this: http://www.doseofdigital.com/in-general/page/2009/09/if-you-charged-for-your-content-would-anyone-pay/ No idea how to fix this.
