When I try to upload images an error appears after crunching.

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_constrain_dimensions() in /home/widgets/public_html/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 173”

When I try to view files in the gallery I get another error.

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: image_downsize() in /home/widgets/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 2326”

    1. I tried deactivating all plugins and this does not resolve the issue
    2. I made sure to delete the files indicated on the upgrade page before uploading the new 2.5 versions. (During the upgrade and again while trying to address this issue)

I have looked at each “Line” where the error indicates a problem. This is useless, because I am not a WordPress coder and wouldn’t know an issue if it bit me in the a$$!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think I have fixed the issue.

I simply reloaded the files found in the public_html folder with the new ones from the 2.5 WordPress file.
Re ran the upgrade url (which did nothing…I think) and the problem seems to have been solved.

The new problem now is image formatting. When I choose positioning for the image (left, right or center) nothing happens to the image. It stays aligned left.
