    Hello,

I´m with a problem on my Dashboard blog - http://www.internessante.com.br

On Install Plugins´ page, it´s appearing this error: "An Unexpected HTTP Error occured during the API request."

Page of error, for example, when I try to search some plugin: http://www.internessante.com.br/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=search

The Development WordPress blog don´t appear on Dashboard, appears: "RSS error: WP HTTP Error: connect() timed out!"

The plugins and thems aren´t upgrading, or better, don´t appear any upgrade, same if exists.

I found here in the Forum, but I made some things, as change the time of request on http.pho, but this didn´t resolved. I tried remove all the plugins, but didn´t resolved too.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards! :-)

Please try to be patient and don't bump posts. Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

Esmi, sorry, I´m impatient because I tried all and nothing solved. But I'll wait patient the replys.

Thanks for reply, I tried desactivating all the plugins, and it didn´t solve.

I return to the default theme too, but it wasn´t resolved.

I tried delete all of my host, and install the wordpress again, cleaned. And it didn´t solved too.

    Thanks! :)

If this is a fresh install with no plugins, you may have a server problem. Have you spoken to your hosting provider?

Yes, I told with them, but they replied that it isn´t problem on the server, it´s a problem with the API key, and may be experiencing a communication failure with my API key and the WordPress.org servers, and I need to contact WordPress.org.

But WordPress.org don´t accept to contact for support, and in the help page, I didn´t find anything about.

    Thanks

I´m checking this with my host, if my blog has support. If no, is there how to activate?

Wow, I checked with my host about the 'fsockopen support' and, I think, they activate this for me, and now everything is working perfectly! :-D

Thank you very much @esmi and especially @designsimply for the help! :)
