Another Drop Down Menus behind the Slider Problem

Hi Everyone,

I’ve installed the WOW Slider on my website (www.churchatthecollege.info) and it’s showing up on top of my main drop down navigation menus. I’ve noticed I’m not the first one to have this problem, but when I try to change the z-index in my style.css file it’s not fixing anything.

I’m wondering if there’s a problem because I’ve created my own child theme from twenty twelve. I’ve fiddled with the style.css file in both the parent and child themes.

This is my first website I’ve ever made and the first bit of coding (even though it is very minor) that I’ve ever done so it’s probably likely that I’ve missed something obvious.
