   Hi people, I'm designing my 1st theme and I'm having lots of fun and learning doing it, but it seems I made some confusion somewhere and now I have a most annoying result. I know very little of .php so i'm asking for help here.

   In index.php, i have my posts listed normally... all the post titles have their permalink, which leads to a customized single.php . BUT ALL posts show the content of the most recent post.

   I bet it's a problem or in single.php... but i can't figure it out.
   I was messing with custom CSS for determined categories when this started...

   If somebody is willing to help I can share code etc.

   a link to your site might help.

   could you also paste the code of your index.php into a http://wordpress.pastebin.com/ and post the link to it here?
   someone might have a look at it, and might come up with an idea.
   same for single.php.
