hey everyone
I posted a thread about this before, but now the problem has come up again.
When I click on my categories section, in my sidebar, it goes to the selected category... but displays an annoying banner at the top. it says something like You are Now viewing the ___ categories tab.
How do I get rid of this?

you would need to delete a line of code, somewhere in your theme's templates.
If you say it's at the very top, this code might be in your theme's header.php
Or it could be in sidebar.php
Wherever you find some HTML code and some of those words like "now viewing"
Make a back-up of your theme before you change anything!
Then find that line of code, try deleting it and refresh your page

Thanks for the quick respnose, but I'm not having any luck. When i look throgh my sidebar.php and header.php I don't find any text that relates to the banner I'm seeing.
Thoughts?
It may be in category.php or archive.php. Or it may be due to a plugin or some function in your theme (functions.php).
