Animation and Comments (4 posts)

Hi, Please can someone tell me the answer to two problems I have, the first is I've been trying to upload an Gif file animation I made using Photoshop onto a post but the image remains still once on screen until I click on it and open a new window then the image becomes large but does animate. The code I used is directly ported from the orignal Gif file using the WordPress post animation icon to upload, am I uploading the wrong way?
The second is I can't seem to remove small "no comment" and "edit" text from the top of each post, please can someone help me?

    Many thanks!

  2. The thumbnail, which is autogenerated by WP, does not retain the animation. The full sized image does. Change the gif to point to the full image and not the resized versions.

    1. See http://wordpress.org/support/topic/animation-1?replies=5 The image in http://leylineswallpaper.com/?attachment_id=452 is animated.

    2. You probably need to edit your theme's template file but unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.
