   Hey,
   i've been trying for a few hours to put an animated ad i made(its a .gif image), ive trid inserting the link to the image as i haave uploaded it into the internets, but nothing is working. i am using a theme called 'Gaming' and its lets you edit the header image. so if anyone could help me that would be great.
   (link to my site, the place i want the image is where it says 'Subscribe!''

   some reason i cant register/login there, i tried logging in with my wordpress account but no luck :(

   You ought to contact them explaining your issues including that you can't log in/register.

   It has nothing to do with WordPress -- they have no connection to WP so no, your login won't work there. You'll have to register on their site.

   i have discovered i cannot use the newwpthemes.com support forums unless i pay for the theme, so there goes that idea, so if anyone knows how i can sort this problem out that would be great.

   Sorry, but these forums don't support themes from that vendor as they do not use the GPL license -- which is not in keeping with WP policy or philosophy. I'd strongly suggest you find another theme. All of the themes from here http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ are free, meet WP standards and are supported on these forums.

   would i be able to use a theme generator, the themes from wordpress arent great.

    You can use any theme you want, even a generated theme.
    Just note WordPress.org forums are here to support the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on WordPress.org.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

    So if you get a theme from anyplace else, no, it won't be supported here.

    EDIT - posted at same time. Also FWIW, I disagree with your opinion of themes from here - there are many, many really great sites that have been built using themes from here.

    Additionally that site is high on my list of places to avoid like a bad infection. They booby trap their themes and that is plain just a dirty thing to do.

    Anyway, it might not be because of the theme itself, its just the animation doesnt show, but a non-animated image does show so yeh.

    Also, its just non of wordpress's themes suit what im doing, the only one to do with it just doesnt cut it.

    Then you'll have to compromise and lose support from WordPress.org.
