Andreas04 working fine in WP.com but not in WP.org (3 posts)

Andreas04 is a 3 column theme (header, sidebar top, sidebar left and sidebar right) that best fits my needs.

I customized it in WP.com and is working fine there, but when I tried to use it in my paid host the right part of it (that is the sidebar top, sidebar left and sidebar right) didn't show up at first and therefore didn't show up either the widgets I have there.

I'd understand that a theme that works in WP.org doesn't work in WP.com due to the WP.com limitations, but not the opposite.

So I installed in my host version the theme's CSS code I got in WP.com and the sidebar top stuff appears in place, but the space reserved for sidebar left and sidebar right remains empty.

Does anybody know a way to solve this problem?

All the actual code for the wp.com themes can be found here:
    http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/

This is what they run on wp.com, live. Note that there are substantial differences between these themes and the normal versions of them, as they heavily customize them for wp.com. So if you want exactly what they're using, then there you go.

    Thanks a lot, Otto.

I think this is a real good help,... problem is I'm not an old man who never was a tech guy and I don't know what exactly to do with this code you allowed me to access.

I could replace the similar Andreas04 folders content I already have, by editing the actual's folders content, deleting it and put the new one content in place, but found there are some folders --like 'images' and 'randomimages'-- that are no editable, so I could't complete thr task.

Besides that, your list has a rtl.ccs folder that my actual Andreas04 doesn't have, so I don't know what to do with it.

Maybe the solution is to to into a folder everything that is in http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/andreas04/, but I couldn't do that either.

    I'll appreciate your advise.
