Anchoring footer to the bottom of the page (5 posts)

I am finalising a site for a customer and have been battling with the footer. The site I am working on is visionfive.zilla-consulting.co.za and you will see that on the home page the footer is floating near the middle of the page with a lot of white space below it.

I have tried various methods to get it to float at the bottom of the page with the closest ending in the footer being anchored at the bottom but if any content goes beyond the footer it is hidden behind it. The solution would work if the footer remained constant and the content had a scroll-bar if necessary.

You need to use "clear: both;" in the footer CSS.

EDIT -- Actually, I take that back -- I don't see the problem -- seems to be fine in Firefox.

seems to be fine in Firefox.

When you say it is fine, what resolution are you viewing the page in and have you tested it on all pages on the site?

Okay, I see it now, but it's weird because when the browser window is smaller, it won't scroll that far down the page.

Have you tried validating the page for HTML or CSS errors?

Beyond that, you'll likely need to get help from the theme vendor -- their themes are not released under GPL -- and thus are not supported here at all.
