    hello,

    - my site has a white space above the header which looks weird, how to remove all of that?

    - how to make the whole page which includes content, sidebars, navigation menu and header color white, i have done some things to white but not the whole portion.

    Take off margin-top from this selector in one of your stylesheets
    #branding .content-pad

    Also take off padding-top to the body style

    for general fundamental formatting problems, try to work with a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to investigate the involved styles.

    for instance, there is a top-margin in the style of #branding .content-pad - try and remove that.

    I would recommend using Google Chrome browser for inspecting such elements, as opposed to Firefox.

    @anevins

    I would recommend using Google Chrome browser for inspecting such elements, as opposed to Firefox.

    Why? ...and be specific please. I've been considering giving Chrome a try.

    Firefox firebug is an add-on (I think they copied Chrome), Chrome has it built into the browser & for me Chrome's inspection tools are a lot easier to use.

    you have a cache plugin activated - are you sure that the edits are passed on to the live site?

    possibly - while troubleshooting - deactivate the cache plugin.

    where have you downloaded the theme from?
    sometimes it can be useful to contact the theme's seller or author for support.
