• Firstly, massive thanks to the developer for this fantastic plugin.

The only thing that I think that is missing in this awesome plugin is an option to inline critical (or above-the-fold) CSS. Google tells us that we “must split (y)our CSS into two parts: an inline part that is responsible for styling the ATF portion of the content, and the part that can be deferred” — in order to improve mobile-user experience.

Now an alternative to this would deferring the CSS altogether, which hardly makes any sense because that leaves us with FOUT (Flash Of Unstyled Text) before the page is completely loaded. So inlining the ‘critical’ CSS appears the way to go.

So I was wondering is there any chance that the plugin could, in some future version, extract the ‘critical’ CSS and inline it in the minified HTML (hence deferring the rest of the style.css)? Or is this too complicated a feature to be incorporated in this plugin?
