An Image on main page becomes adsense on single page

    Hi,

    I recently saw a blog where the author has placed an image at the beginning of an article on the main page. When you then click on the permalink or on the “continue reading” link, that image disappears and is replaced with an adsense blog.

    Anybody an idea how to do something like that?

    index.php – has image in it
    single.php – has the ad in it

    Ok, the ad in the single.php I do understand, but how do I put an image in the index.php without showing always the same one.

    I have a different starting image in the left corner for each article.
