   Hello, I'm trying to update to the latest version of WordPress because I'm running the 2.7 version, and I get this error while I'm trying to update automatically:

   The update cannot be installed because WordPress 3.2.1 requires MySQL version 5.0 or higher. You are running version 4.1.24.

   How can I get the version 5.0 of this MySQL thing? I tried looking for it as a plugin but I haven't been able to find it.

   Thanks in advance.

   You will need to contact your hosting company as they control what version of MySQL you are running.
