awozWhile setting up a new cms style site for a client, I found the need for some form of dashboard area notepad or miniblog where I could post announcements and comments about the site. This would only be for internal and private use by logged-in admin, editor and contributors.
I did find several 'notepad' plugins with simple edit/save features but this produces a long 'note' with newest posts at the end. I recall seeing a plugin where blog posts can be rendered in a widget area but I can't find it now. This would work best if the widget can be located in the dashboard area - for the client to see once they logged in.
I suppose a standard 'categorized' blog would be the quickest way to achieve this.
