WP to Twitter
[resolved] Ampersand in category showing up as & (9 posts)

Pretty much just as the title says - I have a category called "Film & TV", when tweeted via WP to Twitter it shows up as "Film & amp ; TV" (since the code isn't working, I spaced it out for an example) instead of just the basic ampersand. I see that there's an option to strip non-alphanumeric characters, but that doesn't seem to make a difference after testing it, still showing up as the HTML code for &.

Any chance this is an easy fix?

I'll have to take a look. I'm out of town right now, but I'll take a look when I return.

Thanks, appreciate it. Just noticed it today (first post with that category), so didn't know if it was common or an easy fix or what.

Probably pretty easy...but not when on vacation with no computer along...

    :)

Hey Joe, just wanted to touch base and see if you were back from vacation (OBVIOUSLY not trying to be a bug, just wanted to check in and see since clients are bugging me about it). Thanks so much, really love the plug-in.

Prepping the next release; probably in the next week or so, depending on how quickly I can get QA done.

(I can confirm that this issue is fixed, though - just not released yet.)
