   Hi.
   I know, there are many plugins to display amazon products, but I want to keep it simple.

   Just one or two areas in the sidebar with books, as displayed in the right sidebar of http://www.skakistiko.com/ (but I have to to add the pics and the info there manually).

   Any plugin recommended?

   Hi schrodcat.

   I have just released a plugin that can do something similar: Super Amazon Banners - I can look at having it generate smaller thumbnails of just products if that would be useful.
