alternative download link

    Hi,

    Is there any alternative download link for plugin that support resume? Today i try to download some plugin. If a plugin above 700 KB, i cant get it. I know this caused by poor connection, not the link of plugin itself.

    Imagine I’ve downloaded wp-ecommerce plugin more than 50 times with no luck. Everytime start from beginning.. again and again. I’ve try to look at author homepage, but it redirects link to wp.org plugin extend.

    What link are you downloading from?

    Did you try the download button here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-e-commerce/

    Yes.. more times. No problem with the link itself. It’s my connection. So I need the link can resume when I’ve reconnected. The link from the download button always start from beginning and overwrite the not-completed download.

    Ask your host to put it on your server then.

    I’ll try that. On my mind before is that i want to try it locally, so, download it to my PC. Thanks for your suggestion. It’s mean downloading it once to my host, then download it from my host to local PC.

    That’s not on my mind before because headeche of my poor connection.

    A least if it is on your host, you can use FTP from host to local PC, and FTP (e.g. FileZilla) will keep trying to get a GOOD download.
