[resolved] Alter Subscription Widget Output (3 posts)

    Hello --

I'm looking to set up a subscription field in the sidebar on my blog and I would like to simplify what Jetpack already has in place.

All I want is an open field in the sidebar with "Receive E-mail Updates" in it. No button, no text around it. Just the open field that Jetpack currently has in place. Once the user presses enter and the e-mail address is collected the notice "Please Check Your Inbox" will appear.

    That's it.

Can someone help me with the code associated with a change like this? Thank you.

I would suggest that you check how the "Follow Button for Jetpack" does it: they have managed to create a custom Follow button that uses Jetpack Subscriptions:
