   hi all

   is it will be wrong if i altered postmeta table

   to change meta_value field type from longtext to varchar(255)

   i do this to can index (meta_value)

   It seems you could do that but I would make a backup of your database tables first. See WordPress Backups.

   Better yet try it on a test blog first (like install XAMPP and WordPress on local PC).
