Is there a way to alphabetize the posts in my admin area?
I've read about alphabetizing posts on index page, but I want the posts listed in alphabetical order in my admin, like how pages are listed.
Pages are listed in alphabetical order, no matter when it was published.
How can I get my posts to list alphabetically in admin?

Jesus. Can anyone help this poster...and myself? This question was posted 5 months ago and not a single reply. Someone else this question about 3 months ago and no reply to that either. Now I have the same question. Is this the kind of support one gets in the WordPress community? Does anyone care? Hello? (echo...echo...echo...)

I don't have an answer to your question about alphabetizing (I'm new to WP too) but I'll comment on WordPress support. When people do bother to answer your question, the WP community is so hugely helpful. Between the forum and the Codex, there's such a wealth of information. But if you take a look how many posts go without a response, it's sad. And mine are some that have no responses, which leaves me wondering if I'm doing something wrong when posting my questions!
The trick to finding your answer is figuring out what to type in the Codex or Forum search. Which can be SO hard when you're new to WordPress, because you don't actually know what the technical term is to ask... but you know what you want your page to do.
Hopefully you'll get lucky and someone will read your post and bother to answer it rather than skip on to something more interesting. The help is here, amazingly talented people on this forum who I swear can do anything.

Yes, I would love to figure a way to do this... If its hacking code, that's fine, just need a starting point. Does anyone have any suggestions.
I wouldn't mind being able to sort by Author, category, title, date. That seems to be the most logical thing to do.
Might look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/postmash-filtered/ as it says "3) there is a brief instruction on how to allow viewing of posts in the regular 'Edit Posts' admin window in the same order as they appear on postMash and, if set, your blog."
If nothing else that may give you an idea of what you need to hack.
