Ok, first of all, thanks to everyone who's already posted on this forum. Got most everything working by previous posts...
Now, for the confusing part.
Due to wanting WPMU and just WP on the same host, I had to have my host switch around my domains and not it's broken...
I'm using the latest version of both..
Here's the scoop:
blog.mydom.ca gives 500 internal server error - ugg
mydom.ca/blog works, but without the theme, just shows text
mydom.ca is an Addon domain, which means that mydom.ca files are in public_html/mydom and blog.mydom.ca files are in public_html/mydom/blog.
Yeah, no wonder i'm confused! I'm running a typical apache/mysql setup on a shared hosting solution. I guess i'm left wondering if the .htaccess for my joomla install in public_html/mydom is interfering with the htaccess in public_html/mydom/blog
