Is it?

Only starting to play around minify / caching so need something that wont break my website, please advice – can I use this one or is it better to look for something else?

Some of us have been using a forked version of this which still works in v3.8.1 perfectly.

I do not know from which forked version Kimberly talks.
But I have recently started a own fork, and already closed some bugs. It is available in the WordPress plugin directory: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-minify-fix/
