   Hi,

   I'm building a blog for family that requires me to set it up that 'normal members' can only create posts in certain categories.

   To achieve this I tried User Cats Manager plugin, but that restricts guests to view certain categories..

   What's my best alternative?

   One answer:
   Can use these two plugins to restrict categories users can assign when writing posts, but the restrict does not carry forward to view the posts on the blog.
