I'm looking for an easy way to allow users to register an account and save posts to their account for later...such that you will see used in many image bookmarking sites...
Is there an relatively simple way to do this or do I need to work on the code from scratch?

Just let them register, then let them login and write their posts.

I guess I would like to offer a function that with each post would have an option to save the post to their personal account. So if I have a post of a particular image, they can choose to have that image saved to their account. Like you see on http://www.yayeveryday.com or http://www.imgspark.com/
