   This is a two part question:
   My site would like to allow brides to be able to post content to a Your Wedding page that is specific to their wedding. The site might eventually have hundreds of these pages. Posting by email seems the easiest. I would like to allow text and links and maybe pdfs to be posted.

   And, I would like registered users (friends and family) to be able to view this password-protected comment.

   It seems like there might be a project manager or forum plugin that might do this but I have not found one yet.

   Have you considered using WordPress Multi-Site? With that, you could have a site for each wedding and set permissions accordingly. Then you could install a password plugin or use .htaccess to require a password for each site.
