Hello, I've noticed that you only get 5 or 10 minutes to edit your forum post or reply before you can no longer edit it anymore.

This isn't a problem if I've just created the post but I've noticed when looking through my old replies that...

    1. There are mistakes in some places, this is therefore no help and probably confusing to people reading that topic.

    2. I've made links to websites (including my own) which no longer exist or belong to someone else and it would be great to either update or remove those links.

Editing your replies long after they've been posted is a good thing and I can see no reason why it shouldn't be allowed!
This should definitely something to be considered and I'm sure many would agree.

Please try and implement this WordPress!

Posters have 60 minutes to edit their posts. That should be long enough for anyone.

    1. Post an "edit" as a followup.

    2. I don't see how that's an issue.

  3. 2. I've made links to websites (including my own) which no longer exist or belong to someone else and it would be great to either update or remove those links.

If you don't want the links to show up as 'links' put them in code tags. But the tl;dr of the internet is this "If you don't want it googled, don't put it on the net."
