   Hi guys, I know how to allow Subscribers/others to uplaod files, but I also want to let them DELETE their own files. Any way to do this?

   Dangerous idea if you are not careful.

   Try this plugin:

   http://alkivia.org/wordpress/capsman/

   You can create a custom user type (call it whatever you want). You can then set specific things you want that type of user to be able to do...inclusing uploading and deleting.

   Thanks, actually the site is for a client and the only media is their own.

   I've tried Capability Manager plugin before but then found this: http://lists.automattic.com/pipermail/wp-trac/2008-November/034432.html and figured out that I also need to give them the Delete Posts capability.

   I'm also using the Role Scoper plugin, so I hope there are no conflicts.
