I enabled the ‘paste’ field in the tinymce editor in version 1.10.0. Are you using a later version?
i see that in wp-editor-field.php, but i’m trying to enable the additional tinyMCE buttons for link and unlink and no matter what I add or take away, the tinymce text area stays the same.
Add the wplink and try again.
Speaking of tinymce functionality, I’ve noticed that if I’m not logged in and i am submitting a job on the front end I have all of the options that you have enabled ( bold, italic, paste, etc. ). If however I am a logged in user, the description box just appears as a large text box without the tinymce buttons for those features. I thought it was a theme issue, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Have you run in to this before?
@adam.hurlebaus Logged in/out should have no affect. I’d image something is causing a Javascript error on your page. Please post your own thread if you cannot work it out though – it’s against forum guidelines to hijack other user’s posts.
Mike, how do I add buttons by overriding what’s currently there without modifying your original plugin code?
