    Hello,

Firstly thanks to Tobias for this great plugin.

I've created and added a custom field to the admin page list view.

However now I want to filter the list by the custom field and I'm a little confused.

What do I need to do to add the field and values to the filter drop down.

Its a check box field called "american" with either Yes Or No values.

    Thanks,

    Nic

    Hi Nic,

Currently dropdown filters are not supported, besides taxonomies (see FAQ to enable this ).

I have it on my list of features to add more filter options in the future.

For now you could also sort your custom field column, which will then group all fields with the same name ( on alphabet order ). Not exactly the same as filtering but could make it easier for you to find the correct post.

Is there a todo list or an ETA on these updates somewhere? I too would be interested in paying for another extension :)

Admin Columns version 2.0 will be a major update with an improved API to add more extensions.

One of the extensions I am currently working on is the one for Filters.

A rough ETA would be a month from now.

I am also looking for beta testers. If you like to help me test, please let me know.

    Hi Tobis,
Thanks for the update and good to hear.
Sure, I'll be happy to beta test for you.
