Allow Comments / Trackbacks and more missing after upgrade to 3.1.1

1) When creating/editing a post, a lot of the features that were in previous versions i.e. ability to write an exerpt, send trackbacks, add custom field – all missing in my installation (basically there is nothing below the visual editor).

All these options disappeared from the bottom of my edit page. I can still edit the content.

This happened after I installed WP 3.1.1 today. It was visible until then. Now its gone.

Any advice would be appreciated.
