[resolved] Allocating slides to a slider (6 posts)

    Hi,

I am trying your captain Slider plugin, and am driving myself crazy! I know it probably a really obvious answer... I have activated it, uploaded slides, how do I assign slides to sliders? or vice versa? I just can't seem to see how to join the 2x together so some help would be really appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Jules

PS I have read your documentation, it does tell me there that I can allocate slides to a slider, but doesn't tell me how. Help please

Hey Jules. Thanks for posting here!

You're right about it not being in the documentation - I didn't realise what you were asking. I'm going to add that in tomorrow.

For now, I'll tell you how to do it :)

When you add a new slide, there's a small 'meta box' on the right hand side underneath the publish/save slide box. That's where you can create a new slider or add the slide to a pre-existing slider. See the image here: Image Link

You then need to use the 'ID' of the slider in the Slider Manager page :)

    Very happy to review :-)

Just as soon as I can get the slider visible lol, can you tell I am not really a techie person... I guess that's why we use wordpress and lots of cool plugins, we don't need to be... normally.
