Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Or how can I check if anyone logged on to my wp admin and deleted them?
Development site is http://yacoroca.com/dev/dunna/
That makes sense, I’ll try it, however is that likely given that I made no changes to plugins before the incident?
Esmi, you are a life saver!!!!
thanks so much, I did not expect a plugin to do that when no modifications had been made to it in the meantime, I mean…things just seemed to dissappear, however deactivating and reactivating fixed it…. I reactivated ALL the plugins and everrything was restored. Starnge.
Why might that have happened?
You might have had some minor database corruption. Now would be a good time to repair all of your database tables. If necessary, ask your hosts for assistance with this.
sounds like good advice esmi, thanks again!
