    Hi There,

I'm new to WP, and admittedly not as familiar with web coding as I used to be, but I followed the installation instructions completely and now that I'm trying to personalize a downloaded theme for my site, it's showing up blank. Every theme is showing up blank, even the 2011 and 2012 ones that come with WP.

I'm using Hostpapa.com and have had so very many troubles with them it comes as no surprise at all if it has to do with them somehow, but I would like to think that there's some hope. Any suggestions? Any helpful information I could elaborate on?

Oh, I forgot to mention, my permissions for the folder are set to 755, and the files to 644, as suggested in a previous post. This post did not provide me with a solution to the problem, however. I also set up the database according to directions when installing, and used the link to generate authenticity codes and salts. I haven't even got so far as to include any sorts of plugins whatsoever. If it were a specific theme, wouldn't the default ones work?
