   Lost all my posts after trying to update latest post. Dashboars indicates 0 posts and 0 pages. How can I get orig. posts and pages back?

   Do you have a ecent database backup?

   1. I have deactivated all plug-ins.

   2. I have downloaded my backup file which is about 2 mos. old.
   The file is labeled >> blog2_20100220_058.sql <<.
   I am on an iMac computer running OS X Tiger.
   How do I load my backup file into my WordPress site: //stanstake.com/ ?

   Try setting up a new database and then importing your backup file using PhpMyAdmin. Once the import is complete, edit your wp-config.php file to point to the new database.

   Sorry for my stupidity -- but how do I set up a new db? What application program do I use w. my iMac?
