    Howdy folks.

I was breezing along fine when all my plugins deactivated. The rest of the site seems fine. no other problems. When I try to activate a plugin howver I get this.

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/jcroft/handsome6.jimsoffice.org/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 103

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/jcroft/handsome6.jimsoffice.org/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php:103) in /home/jcroft/handsome6.jimsoffice.org/htdocs/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 694

I checked those last two errors for the whitespace problem but found none. The first error might be causeing the bottom two. I am not sure.

Around the time this broke I was uploading google xml sitemap generator to the plugin directory replacing the old one. And I had a DB backup running that should have been emailed to me. Thats all I can think of that was occuring.

    Any suggestions would be appreicated.

  • One possible solution, is to remove all your plugins from the plugins directory manually. And then install one at a time till you hit one that might be cause the problem.

And check after removing all the plugins from the directory, that site works first before attempting to reinstall one plugin at a time.

Thanks for the suggestion Hotkee. I gave it a try but no luck. I deleted all plugins and the site was still working. I added one plugin and tried to activate it and bam no good. I tried with another and same thing. I was thinking of reloading the whole site. As long as its not a DB thing I was hoping it would work. :/

It turns out it was a DB error. The DB had a table get messed up. My Tablemaster fixed it and I am back in business. Looking at the error logs helps 🙂
