I have five sites and, over the past week or so, have received plugin update messages in the wp-admin panel. I have clicked on them (one was youtube video, the other secure wordpress) and received the following message:
Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/youtube.1.0.3.zip…
Download failed. Not Found
Actions: Return to Plugins page
Why would I be notified of an update, but no download found?

I'm having the same problem with http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feed2post/
Half of the times it says 404, half of the times it works. Seems to be some problem with the server :(

not sure what it is, but it has been consistent over the past week or so. If there is server problem at WP.org level, I'd hope they would share that info.
