• Good morning, Forum!

Hopefully you can shed some light on my issue. Recently, I was asked to upload photos and make some content changes to a friend’s site. Everything was fine until the next time I logged into the site. Now, whenever you access any of the pages, only the home page contents display vs the actual page like About Us, Contact Us, etc… I have enclosed the link for your review http://www.apathensdesign.com The only link not affected it the Facebook link created a plug that I installed for my friend to add his FB page. Also, when you go to the actual page itself in dashboard, the content is what you want to see for that page.

    Additional concerns:
    1. All plugins that I installed are able to be deactivated but not uninstalled. Once I noticed the concern, I tried to uninstall a couple of them just to see if they were the items that are causing the issue.

The only recent changes that took place when last logged into the site were the update to 3.6 and Nextgen gallery reset to default which worked afterwards because I was able to move between the page tabs after these were updated and reset default.

I have left the contact page active with the Home and FB pages for you to see. Please advise. Any feedback would be great!

    Thank you!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hi Esmi!

I did the first two steps. It appears to be the Nextgen Gallery giving me the issue. So I have left it deactivated. However, I cannot uninstall any of the deactivated plugins. Can you assist with this issue as well?

Thanks for all your quick response and assistance!

Why? What happens when you try to delete them?
