• I am using WordPress installed for me by my web provider, and I am using the default design (the blue heading box).

For the past several weeks, everything has been fine. But now, the first two entries at the top of my blog page appear in regular type; all the entries below them appear in italic type.

I have gone through each of the older topics manually and clicked the Close Tags button and the Update button. When I reload my blog, the same problem still appears.

I can’t remember any more if the links in the right-hand pane were originally italicized or not, but they’re in italics now.

I searched for this problem in this forum, and someone has left a tag open. Closing the tags solved the problem for him, but it hasn’t for me. How can I get the italics to go away?

    Thanks.

  • Site url?

‘close tags’ doesn’t seem to work this way – it only closes the one tag just opened during edit.

you really need to go through the latest articles in HTML editor setting and find the last word ‘before the italics’ and close the <em> tag manually.
