All of a sudden my side widget menu is appearing at the bottom in IE?

For weeks we have been working on getting content into the site. Everything has been fine up in till last night. All of a sudden the side widgets/menu appears at the bottom of the site in Internet Explorer. it looks fine in other browsers. i can honestly say that I am pretty sure that there has been no adjustments to the parameters that would effect these areas. Please, I hope someone can help me figure out why this is happening.
