   Hi

   I am in serious need of help please!!
   I had created 2 WP blogs in my personal server. From one day to the next two of those blogs are no longer accessible .
   I get a
   "You don't have permission to access" and then it lists the directory /xxx/xxx

   and also
   "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
   Then it lists the error below

   -----------------------------------------------------------------------

   Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at [here list sthe URL for the root of my site] Port 80

   just a quick test.

   try to rename the .htaccess file that is in the root of the blogs.

   wp should automatically re-make a working .htaccess..

   and you'll always have the old one just incase.

   (can rename to .htaccess.old to test and see)

   so you say rename the one i have there to .htaccess.old

   and then rename .htaccess to something else? (no matter what .joseph or somethign?)

   Sorry i am really nto a coder...
   Please let me know I'll give it a try right now and get back to yo

   Yeah, just rename it to something different, anything would work.

   Hi

   I renamed it and I think it impreved a bit - i cannow see the blog with the theme BUT I sitll cannot access any files under theme editor. I still get
   Oops, no such file exists! Double check the name and try again, merci.
