   Every time I add a new post, they all have the same URL. It is my main domain and then /categories.

   Why can't I get each new post to have a unique URL filed under its category? Please help?

   what did you have as your title as that will be used in your url if you using permalinks depending what you choose in permalinks settings

   Thanks, govpatel. I put %categories% in the custom structure, but I'm still a little lost about what to put in category base and tag base. Is something specific supposed to go in those inputs, or am I not supposed to use both of them? Sorry if this is rudimentary stuff.

   if you look at that I posted if you want category in url along with ypur post title then you need add this in custom structure

   /%category%/%postname%/
