all my themes are messed up? (9 posts)

All of a sudden, my website ( http://www.tidydeal.com) has a messed up theme! I have no idea what is causing it to look weird? Have tried changing themes, but every one seems to look 'different'?

Any ideas on what file(s) may be messed up and how to go about correcting the problem??

    Many thanks!

Did you lately install a new plugin? Did you add anything or delete anything?

negative.... have not recently added or deleted anything to the site (as a matter of fact, just got back from sweden!).

I did just now change the theme back to one of the default themes, and the same problem... appears shifted?

Hmmm. What version WERE you running when you left for Sweden? And does your host sometimes do script upgrades automatically?

    was running version 2.0
came home yesterday and noticed the shift
saw that there was an update to 2.0.1 thru fantistico so just updated...and problem is still there.

there is not alot of content on this site yet, so can start all over... but would prefer to know what the cause is so as to prevent from occuring in future.

    thanks!

Well, there have been some reports of inconsistencies in themes (mostly kubrick, truthfully) in 2.0 and 2.0.1. My guess is the upgrade caused some wonkiness in the themes. I haven't noticed that myself but I believe others may have.

You can try just working on the shifts - I'm not sure a fresh install would help. If you want to try a fresh install of 2.0.1 to see if that makes a difference, try installing a new instance in a separate subfolder before you do anything irrevocable with your current installation.

Decided to simply start all over and reload.... all appears to be working fine at this point.

    Appreciate your help and comments!!

    Many thanks!
