All my posts go to my BLOG section

    Hi guys , pretty new here. Recently I install a wordpress and buy a premium theme.
    All was good and I install it properly, and now it is running lovely.

    But there is a problem that I can’t fix and I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

    I made a portfolio page , and when I need to post to this page I select the category / portfolio / and when i publish and go back to the website , I see the same post goes to the BLOG section.

    What I am doing wrong ? Can anybody give a hand please.

    I will be highly appreciated.

    What you are describing is default functionality,

    There should be an option somewhere to exclude categories from the main blog feed. That is the only way, otherwise you will have to edit the archive page or use a hook in functions.php to exclude the category.

    Hey Ben,

    Thank you for your replay. Would you be able to tell me where i can exclude ctegories from the main bog ?

    Cuze the other options that you are giving, they are 100% not for me as I do not know anything concerning developing part.
