All my plugins disappeared! (5 posts)

I logged on to WordPress just to check what plugins I had installed to make sure I had them on my other sites as well. But when I clicked "Installed Plugins" I got error messages all up and down the page something along the lines of "Plugin doesn't have valid header" and when I refreshed all the plugins were gone.

Why has it done this and how can I restore them all? Most of the plugins had data in them such as testimonials that I want to get back. Also I had a backup plugin installed.

    Please help!

    Thanks

@adi_mitran: It is impolite to interrupt another poster's ongoing thread with a question of your own. It causes significant problems for the forum's volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

Your site has most probably been infected by the "$zend_framework" hack. Check a few .php files to see if the first line contains funny characters that should not be there. If they are, I wish you all the best, cuz you're going to need it. I've just discovered a number of my sites have been infected and am looking for a somewhat elegant solution. See http://www.justbeck.com/zend_framework-wordpress-hacks/ for more info on the hack which seems to have started infecting sites around the 6th or the 10th of June.
