All my content is gone from posts and pages, the menu is gone. All the pages and posts have no media, no links, no copy–nothing. When I look at the media in the dashboard, or at the pages in ‘edit’, all is html-like gibberish, as if the WYSIWYG interface is out, but with no recognizable code. The banner is there. (Using I am contacting Daily Razor to check to see if all is OK on their end.) The site is hosted on Daily Razor, and you can see it at http://www.riversidestatepark.org
I’m not panicking, when I look at the overview of pages and posts, nobody has updated anything, all the dates correspond to when I updated and added media, so I’m doubting a hacker did this.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

I’m having the same problem, all my content in Media is gone, therefore, none of the images are showing up on my posts, pages and sidebar.

Before I do what is suggested to do here, I want to make sure I understand what this does. What exactly am I refreshing by going through the steps above, the media files? Or anything but the media files? If I could understand the logics behind it, that’d be helpful. I’m just afraid to go through the steps only to find out that everything is set to default after so many days and hours of customizing…

Also, I am using the Pure theme, so am I to add “-old” to the end of the Pure folder? How does that switch the theme to the Twenty Eleven?

I am using the most recent wp version, so it seems like step 3 “running the upgrade manually” is not possible in my case.

    Help!! (Thanks)

Sorry, it’s come back again. Something went wrong with my safari setting, it was not wp. Please disregard my questions. Thanks.
