2 days ago, the All-in-one-SEO plugin prompted there was an upgrade but after click the auto upgrade, it gave the error as follow:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_types() in /home/vsop/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/all_in_one_seo_pack.php on line 727"

This error caused my admin panel to be down and I couldn't log in. I had to delete it via FTP before I could access my admin panel.

Any idea what is wrong? I'm using wordpress 2.8.4.

    Thank you.

Not a fix, but a start...

You can download the previous version of All in One SEO Pack from here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/download/

Then go to your WP admin panel, upload the file and activate the plugin.

Stay away from 1.6.12 until it is updated an fixed.

  4. There was an issue with AIOSEOP 1.6.12 and very old versions of WordPress. It has been fixed now in AIOSEOP 1.6.12.1.
I also recommend that you upgrade to the newest version of WordPress.

Thanks Sebast, I was hunting high and low for the older version. At least, it is back to normal. I've learned my lesson and will wait patiently for the newer version.

And also thanks to Halls, will see how WP 3.0 goes before I upgrade to the newer version.

  6. efly09, upgrade to WordPress 3.0 and AIOSEOP 1.6.12.1
